Back and Chest PainBoth the chest and the back bears the weight of our body; hence these two are prone to pain and spasm. The chest and back carry the stress for the whole body so often, they are the body parts stressed out more in comparison with the other body parts. Chest and back pain can occur in all ages but most frequently it is experienced by older persons. Chest pain is sometimes identified as “Angina pectoris”. It is described as distinctive pain an individual may experience and it is easily identified. It is comparable to a tight vest being drawn crosswise to a person’s chest. Though back and chest pain are identified with heart attack, these do not imply that you would have a heart attack once you experience awful back chest pain. Chest and back pain may occur if the sac around the heart would swell. There are also a number of non cardiac reasons that could contribute to back and chest pain. One example is a heart burn. This occurs after a meal and most of the time lasts for hours. This is a painful burning feeling that you experience at the back of your breast bone. The second example is when you panic. This is when you experience fear that comes with rapid breathing. Due to the extensive nerve system in the body, chest pain and back pain may be brought by the other parts of the body. Chest and back pain are caused by various factors but up to now, the link among the two is still vague. When a person experiences an upper back chest pain, they conclude easily that the back chest pain is radiating and afterwards ignore the incident. The awful pain that has been experienced by the person will be associated with muscle pain. Even if the chest and back pain are recurring, it will still be ignored. People should not ignore awful chest and back pain because it could not be a simple back pain or chest pain but rather a condition getting worse as it is being ignored. Living a healthy lifestyle would certainly prevent severe chest and back pain. Eating nutritious foods (vegetables, fruits, meat), having an 8-hour sleep every night, performing simple exercises at least thrice a week that will strengthen the back and chest and will help keep us fit. The cause of frequent back and chest pain attacks can be mainly attributed to an unhealthy lifestyle such as smoking and drinking. Chest and back pain attacks are not inherited unlike other diseases hence lifestyle acts as the main determinant on who will likely develop a chest and back pain. One should ask for medical advice especially if back and chest pain attacks are often in order to prevent the worsening condition of the person or treating it as early as possible to prevent more complications. |
